ProMonitor
ProMonitor Risk & Integrity
A risk assessment that moves when the pipeline, or the vessel, does.

What Risk & Integrity does
A pipeline risk assessment done once a year is a description of last year. ProMonitor Risk & Integrity keeps the assessment live for every pipeline and every vessel: more than 100 variables scored and weighted into internal corrosion, external corrosion and geotechnical likelihoods and a consequence score, recalculated as flow, chemistry and mitigation data change. The result is a ranked matrix of every pipeline and vessel in the system and a detailed assessment report for any one of them, for any date, showing the mitigated risk against the unmitigated. The method follows NACE, ASME, CSA Z662 and CAPP practice.
Inside Risk & Integrity
Connectivity first
What flows where: the pipeline network, the vessels on it, the fluids in it, from the same asset record as Schematics.
Likelihood: score × weight, by factor
Each factor in internal corrosion, external corrosion and geotechnical likelihood is scored for how it affects the pipeline or vessel and multiplied by the weight you give it. You can see and change every one.
Consequence: the impact to you
What a failure on this segment would cost — production, environment, people, reputation — scored from the same datasets.
The whole system, ranked
A risk matrix of every pipeline and vessel, scored relative to each other, so the question is not “is this one risky” but “which ones first.”
Mitigated against unmitigated
Record the inhibition, the pigging, the inspection, and the assessment shows the risk profile with the program and without it, per segment. That is the justification for the integrity budget.
Any pipeline or vessel, any date
A detailed assessment report — physical data, flow volumes, chemistry, characteristics, scores and matrix — produced instantly for any period.
Flow and internal corrosion modelling
Flow regime and internal corrosion modelled from the pipeline geometry and the produced fluids, and water crossing assessments.
Public data first, then yours
Connectivity is set up from public datasets, then refined with your private data. Default weightings follow industry practice, so the first assessment is useful before you have tuned anything.
On its own, or end to end
Risk & Integrity reads the shared data lake, so it can improve this one process while everything else connects by API or file — or run as part of the whole chain. About the ProCalc platform.

What customers say
All testimonialsWhen we experienced a change in staffing, we decided to explore new options for measurement record keeping. Cost savings were a priority, especially since our previous supplier required not only an annual fee but also a mandatory upgrade charge and a lengthy implementation process. I wasn’t heavily…
We are new business owners in the gas and oil industry and I cannot say enough great things about Critical Control and their team. We really enjoy the mobile app and the ability to scan in our charts and, even more importantly, to have production data at our fingertips. Our situation as a very…
The mobile chart scanning application on the phones is awesome. Late scanning and scanning errors are a thing of the past. All of my operators are thrilled with the ease of use and convenience of scanning the charts as they come off the readers.
