ProCalc Financial Accounting
Send in the invoice. Find it again from the P&L.
What Financial Accounting does
Financial Accounting is the complete books for an oil and gas company — everything the finance team needs, set up in hours, easy to use, and it gets the job done. Scan an invoice or send it in; it is coded and posted. Then open the P&L, click any line, and the invoices behind it are there. It sits on the same record as production, so revenue and royalties from Revenue Accounting arrive already reconciled to the volumes that earned them.
Inside Financial Accounting
Invoices code themselves
Scan it or email it. The invoice is read, coded to the account, property and AFE it belongs to, and posted. The image stays attached.
Click the P&L
Any line on the P&L opens to the entries behind it, and any entry opens to the invoice that created it. No report requests, no searching.
Revenue and royalties from production
What Revenue Accounting calculated is what is booked. Owner statements, Crown, freehold and overriding royalties post without re-entry.
Joint venture
AFEs, cost allocation by interest, cash calls and joint interest billing for operated and non-operated properties.
Set up in hours
A chart of accounts built for oil and gas, not adapted from one. Properties, partners and AFEs come across from ProCalc rather than being keyed twice. A new company is keeping books the same day.
On its own, or end to end
Financial Accounting reads the shared data lake, so it can improve this one process while everything else connects by API or file — or run as part of the whole chain. About the ProCalc platform.

The mobile chart scanning application on the phones is awesome. Late scanning and scanning errors are a thing of the past. All of my operators are thrilled with the ease of use and convenience of scanning the charts as they come off the readers.
